Many, many years ago, people from a far, far place
Decided to get on ships and they loaded all their guns
Filled up all their supplies, with the blessing of their Kings
Some instead had Queens, so they set off to the seas
In search of greater wealth and to spread their influence
In places called New Worlds which actually existed
Longer than their forefathers while they may be ignorant
They were very confident, they were very confident
Many, many months had passed, some docked at the ports
While some just sank into the sea, (but) for those that did survive
Traded with orientals, some a bit more exotic
Set up forts in foreign lands, with power in their hands
I’ll defend my koloni!!! (x4)
So now boundaries were drawn, local communities torn
Those who did not obey hurt, some faced/fates even worst
They began first as merchants, now they grew into tyrants
Local Kings got compromised, or met their demise
